Our first church was founded in October 1882 in downtown Wichita Falls and coincided with the founding of our city. Our current sanctuary and church complex was built at our current location, 3601 Taft Blvd., Wichita Falls, across from Midwestern State University in the early 1960s. In 2017, we celebrated 135 years of God's faithful work in and through our church ministries. God continues to do a great work for our city, our country, and our world through FPC.
First Presbyterian Church of Wichita Falls joined ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians in 2015. The mission of ECO is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ. We dreamed of reclaiming a sense of community, reformed heritage and to find ways for our members to connect, grow, and multiply.
